The 2020-2022 allocation period of the Global Fund is about to start. Some changes have been made since the last allocation period, which might affect what the process will look like in your country. You can already start preparing by looking at some of the resources that have been published by the Global Fund:
- The official Application materials have been posted on the Global Fund website.
- A series of Webinar will be hosted for external partners to explain the funding process, the different application approaches, matching funds, and country allocations. To attend, you need to request an invitation by sending an email to A2Ftraining@theglobalfund.org. Webinars on each topics will be hosted 2 times a day, to make it easier for people in different time-zones to attend.
- Training modules will also be posted on the iLearn virtual training platform; they are designed for anyone who needs a general understanding of funding request development, so they are less detailed than the content of the webinars.
- Finally you can refer to the applicant resource library, which has in particular regularly updated Frequently Asked Questions, as well as information notes, technical briefs, the modular framework handbook and the applicant handbook.
You can always reach out to the APCRG team, or consult some of our own resources, if you face any particular issue with regard to the funding request development in your country.
