CAI Report Launch

APCASO will join thousands of HIV advocates in the 2016 International AIDS Conference in Durban, South Africa, from July 18-22, 2016, to call for increased HIV investment and to launch, along with the Australian Federation of AIDS Organisations (AFAO), its report on the Community Advocacy Initiative (CAI).

The Community Advocacy Initiative supported community and civil society to translate international HIV financing frameworks into credible, relevant and effective national advocacies. The project was jointly implemented by APCASO and AFAO, in partnership with HACC (Cambodia), CHAIN (China), LaoPHA (Lao PDR), and SCDI (Viet Nam). The accomplishments, lessons and challenges of this programme offer insight for community-based interventions across the region and beyond.
